Entering Scores
You can choose the maximum score that a beer can receive for each category. You can score best out of 5, 10, 57, 100, or whatever! Its up to you. And you can change the scale for each tasting. So, if scoring best out of 5 doesn't work for your today, you can change it to 10 next time. Beer Club Hub calculates beer rankings by percentages, so changing your scoring scale won't affect your results. Beer Club Hub allows Members to score in increments of 1/10 of a point, for example scores of 6.5, 8.3, or 10.0 are all valid if your max score is 10.
Contest Administrators
A Contest Administrator can always add, view, change, or delete any score in the Contest. So, you can have your members record their scores on paper, collect them at the end of the night, and enter the scores yourself. You can even download score cards from Beer Club Hub for each tasting to print off for your Members.
Desktop and Laptop
Each member can record their scores online using a PC or Laptop. They can enter their scores during the tasting, or afterward. Its up to you. You could even setup a few Laptops in your club house so Member's can score in real time using their Beer Club Hub accounts.
Smartphones and Tablets
Get rid of that soggy paper. Have your members enter scores in real time using our Mobile Scoring App on their smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices. Our Mobile Scoring App is "web-based" so there is no software to download. If the mobile device has a web browser, you can use our Mobile Scoring App!
Notes and Favorites
While scoring, Members also have the option of entering notes for each Beer, so they can remember why they scored it they way they did. You can also mark a beer as your favorite. This is helpful in blind tastings when you don't know the beer name. You can go back after the names are revealed and see which beers you marked as your favorites.
