Manage Business Settings

Now that your business is created in Beer Club Hub, it's time to configure some important settings. To access your business settings from the Dashboard:

1. Click Manage from the top menu
2. Click Business
3. Your business settings page will open

On this page, you can update the following settings for your business and click Save to save your changes. Click on the fields below for more detail.

• Business Name

  This is the name of your business or organization. It will appear on your dashboard and important communications, such as emails. This is also the name that customers will see when they search for your business.

• Year Founded

  This is the year your business or organization was founded. It will displayed on the dashboard.

• Website

  (Optional) This is the address of your website (eg. https://www.your-business.com). It will be displayed in communications such as emails and will be shown on your public business profile, if you have that feature enabled.

• Currency

  This is the currency that you accept at your business. It will be used to format the prices on your menus.

• Allow Membership Requests

  When checked, this will allow other users of Beer Club Hub to search for your business by name and request membership. When not checked, managers will have to send invitations to users in order to join your business at Beer Club Hub.

• Automatically accept membership requests

  When checked, requests for membership to your business will automatically be accepted and users will immediately become members. When not checked, managers will be notified of membership requests via email and will have to accept the membership request.

• Show business information to public on BeerClubHub.com

  When checked, your business profile will be shown on a dedicated page on BeerClubHub.com. Users will not have to login to see this profile page and the page will appear on search engines, such as Google. After saving your Business Settings, the web address of your profile page will be displayed. You can use this web address in marketing materials and publications.

  You can also customize your profile page. By choosing Show business rating to public, your star rating will be displayed on your profile page. By choosing Show beer menu to public, your beer menu will be displayed on your profile page. After saving your Business Settings, the web address of your beer menu will be displayed. You can use this web address in marketing materials and publications.

TIP The web address of your profile page is based on your Business Name. If you change your business name on the Business Settings page, the web address of your profile page will change as well. You may have to update your marketing or printed materials accordingly.
